SwitchMix

SwitchMix™ II

A compact switched, true summing routing matrix for both audio and DC-coupled control voltages.

SwitchMix is a totally analogue design for fast and precise summing and is optimised for analogue quality. It is fully buffered with no loading effects, no digital scanning to breakthrough, no delays or software artefacts, no FET distortion, and no interaction between settings.

Each row of LEDs dims to indicate cut status when the (red) output cut button is pressed.

SwitchMix replaces a tangle of patch cables, mults, and eight eight-input precision adders in one easy to visualise panel.

SwitchMix was our first and last Eurorack module, SwitchMix II has been redesigned and de-Eurofied to conform to the higher standards of our other modules and is now fully AES48 compatible. New features include a Gate and Trigger converter similar to that in PinMix which may be brought out on an option panel.

SwitchMix has balanced or unbalanced compatible inputs and outputs, extending its use beyond synthesizer patching to other audio routing applications, including multitrack and effects routing, headphone mixes, stem mixdowns and mix minuses. The balanced inputs and outputs make it suitable for interfacing DAW sound cards, mixers or outboard equipment with a synthesizer.

SwitchMix has balanced or unbalanced compatible inputs and outputs and is available with bantam(TT) jacks or mini-jacks.
