The Sennheiser MD21 has a Klein Tuchel connector recessed in its case casting. Our standard Klein Tuchel connector sleeve will not thread onto this microphone. This cable uses a different connector that will fit an MD21. It is not as water resistant as our standard connector, so is not recommended for outdoor use in wet conditions.
This cable is wired with the same pinout as standard Klein Tuchel microphones, and may be a good choice where a variety of such microphones is being used including an MD21 to avoid confusion.
For MD21-HL microphones which have a different pinout, our -HL cable is required. If you are not sure which is needed, see the Vintage Microphone Information Table or ask us.
