This type of connector is a screw locking 3 pin DIN type, similar to those used for MIDI or Hi-Fi. It was commonly used by German manufacturers for non-broadcast microphones before XLR became the universal standard.
This is a male to female cable, wired pin for pin. The connectors used are IP67 rated, making them suitable for outside use for film and broadcast applications. Most useful for vintage MKH series microphones powered from a vintage T-Power converter using the same connector. We also carry adapter cables to convert between DIN 41524 and XLR.
