Although AES/EBU was originally designed to use short balanced analogue XLR cables, 96kHz and 192kHz sampling rates and longer runs really need a purpose made cable. These cables meet all the requirements of high-end professional audio applications. They are also excellent for use as high-end digital hi-fi component interconnects.

Constructed using newly available robust Sommer Cable 6.5mm diameter 110 ohm impedence controlled cable with fully screened Neutrik digital XLR connectors.

This cable has the XLR shells and Pin 1 connected to the cable screen.
